We can provide a LiveIn24 carer to any part of England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands.
Which conditions are supported?
We can support most conditions including physical disability and dementia, but you do not have to have a condition to have a Live In Carer, just a need for one to one dedicated support.
What do I need to provide for my carer?
Your LiveIn24 carer needs their own bedroom, access to a bathroom and ideally internet access. They need two hours break a day but this can be very flexible. You do need to provide food for your carer.
What are the costs and how do I pay?
Costs per week start from £650 per week. Clients are assessed for need and the cost might increase according to needs and requirements.
Will a carer sleep at my house?
Yes, they will sleep in your house.
Are your staff employed by Livein24 or are they self employed?
All our carers are employed by LiveIn24 and we do the recruitment, training, supervision and management. We recruit our carers from a variety of sources.
What duties will my carer perform?
Your carer can provide a variety of duties to ensure that you are able to be kept safe and well. The range of daily duties required will be discussed with you before the carer arrives and reviewed regularly to ensure that they meet your needs.
What happens if my carer can’t get to me?
With Livein24 we guarantee that you will always have a carer. If your usual carer if off sick or away for an unexpected reason, another highly trained carer will be sent out to you.
What happens if severe weather prevents my carer getting to me?
The Livein24 is backed up by a fleet of emergency vehicles from six wheeled off terrains, four-wheeled drives and even boats. This means that we guarantee that we will get a carer to you, whatever the weather.
Can I cancel my care programme should I need to?
We normally require seven days’ notice to end the package.
How long can I have support?
For a minimum of two days - two weeks to cover a holiday of your normal carer - three months whilst you recover from an operation - or ongoing. The choice is yours!
